Recurring tasks

A task that comes up regularly is created once. After you tick it off, the next one appears by itself.

Set up a repeat

  1. Open the task.
  2. Click Repeat in the sidebar.
  3. Choose Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly.
  4. Set the interval if needed, for example "Every 3 weeks".
  5. Choose the rhythm: Fixed schedule or After completion.
  6. If the series should end, set a date under "Ends on".

Fixed schedule or after completion

Rhythm The next date Example
Fixed schedule follows from the planned date, even if you tick it off late Rent is due on the first, even if you paid on the eighth this time.
After completion counts from the day you ticked it off The plants need water every ten days, counted from the last watering.

What happens when you tick it off

The completed task moves to "Completed". The next one appears on the board, with the same details and the new date. If the task has subtasks, they are copied along and are open again.

Good to know

  • A subtask repeats with its parent task, not on its own.
  • Recurring tasks are part of Free.
  • "One-off" ends the series. The current task stays.
